Dear Parents and Carers,
We are excited to share some news with you regarding our nursery.
Over the next fortnight, Dawn to Dusk Day Nursery Swanley will be rebranding and trading under a
new name: The Birches Nursery.
This is something we have hoped to do since originally purchasing the nursery, and after lots of
careful thought and planning, we are delighted to finally be taking this next step. As many of you
know, we have now become well established within the park community, and we feel this is the right
time to refresh and strengthen our identity with a new trading name that reflects the setting and its
surroundings.
We would like to reassure all families that:
• There will be no change to the ownership or management of the nursery.
• Our legal company name registered with Companies House will remain unchanged.
• Our familiar logo will remain the same, updated only with the new nursery name.
• Everything you know and love about the nursery will remain exactly the same, the nursery
will simply be trading as The Birches Nursery moving forward.
This rebrand will be introduced gradually over the coming weeks across our signage,
communications, and documentation.
You may also hear us answering the phone as The Birches Nursery from next week… although please
do bear with us if we accidentally slip back into the old name now and then while we get used to it
too!
We know many families will also be wondering about uniform. We are currently looking into logo
patches that could be ironed over the existing name on current uniform items, helping to make the
change as simple and cost-effective as possible. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more
information. We will, of course, cover the cost of these patches.

the nursery has come and look forward to continuing this journey with you as The Birches Nursery.
